From My Desk

On my desk I keep a calender that roughly covers the top. I do not use it to keep tab on dates but instead I have in backwards so is to have one huge clear sheet. What I do is as I hear something from a preaching message or something God gives me I wright it down.

Well it is time to take down the top sheet because it is full and I had to tare out some peaces for writing a number or something. What I want to do is when I change I want to post these nuggets for record keeping or maybe there might be something that will bless you, So hear are the first of hopefully many:

Calvary was not the after thought of Christ.....Enoch walked with God,(I can imagine the conversation might have gone like this,"We sure are closer to my home than yours." The thought that God gave me was, you are closer to Heaven today than when you got saved......Isiah 2:13.......Bethany in the Bible means the house of the afflicted one, Jesus spent more time in Bethany than any place else.....The cleanest building in Jeff Davis Perish should be the house of God.......It seems like today society tolerates God at a convenient season........He makes the storms to pass, Sometimes God makes the storm to ravage to Manifest His Glory.......There was a time when the Priest would not defile himself and the offerings were sincere........If you ain't afraid of doing it(sin)Don't be afraid of me Preaching against it(sin)........I don't want to be a traiter to the cause; Spreading the Gospel,Separation,Standards,and Convictions........Psalm 16:11 in there in find the word path; A highway to happiness,I don't want to just exist, I want to live....Pin the ears back And plow deep,PREACH!!!!!........Trying to be consistent through the lows and the highs......The thought of Barabbas,"That I can still go free." If you know the song sing it........
And lastly I will say this; Many churches today are living in the spirit after the great revival in Nineveh, Why did this city finally fall after such great a revival? Why did this city dissimate? Why did Nineveh not continue? Simple; and please don't miss it. What we want is not what are children want! Psalms 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
Adding sin to sin. You might say no not mine. You are feasting on the manna and our children are the ones saying,"What is it."

The Veiw

Well once again I am off to another opportunity to seek what my heart desires, The call is so strong in my heart as it was in 2002 when I surrendered to preach. Please pray for Gods will. My desire is that the people be sensitive to the Holy Ghost. And that if God wants me there that God will show them. Preaching Gods word is my desire and it is what God called me to do. Not to impress with my deliverance but that deliverance might be their desire. (Deliverance from sin and its wickedness)
What man is looking for may not be what God is seeking for him, so to the Holy Ghost I will be sensitive too. Let me quote what the Hero I never met in my life has said,"Man is looking for a better plan;God is looking for a better man." and with that statement this was his prayer," Lord help me to be that man. help me to remember that my times are in thy hands." Bro. Lester Roloff
This to is my prayer.

Its sill Good

Well it has been a fulfilling week, and I can say that no matter what God is Good. Did I fail this week, Yes, But thank God for Grace. I am still praying for the situation in Alice Texas. I would love to be doing what I desire to do but in Gods time I will go. But I do admit it is burning within My Soul.
This week God showed me some things in the bible I have never seen before concerning Jealousy. I will be working on a message soon on what God gave me concerning this one subject.
The verse the Lord showed me was in Matthew 27: 18. You will have to read verses 15 Thur 25 to get the whole scope. It is burning so much in me right now that it is awesome how God is.
I will say one thing. the machine these Pharisee and Sadducee's built was being destroyed because of our Savior. their ways of lasciviously and filthy lucre were being exposed. They were losing ground and hated it. They didn't have the mind of John the Baptist when he said,"John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease." They hated Our Lord Jesus out of Jealousy. But listen to what Jesus said,"John 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.''
This is the verse that set me a flame, John 12:19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
This was there cause to hate so much and the root of their jealousy, envious of Our Lords Fame, Yet Jesus when He healed if you remember would say," Tell no one"
Listen to what John Gill says about the Pharisees,
perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? the Vulgate Latin and Arabic versions read, "we prevail nothing", so Nonnus; the sense is the same; suggesting, that all their wise schemes and crafty councils signified nothing; the commands they enjoined the people not to follow him, or to apprehend him, or to show them where he was, were disregarded; their threatenings to put out of the synagogue such as should confess him, were taken no notice of; their promises of reward were slighted; their examples were not followed; and all their artifice and cunning, backed with power and authority, did not succeed:
Mathew Henry in his writings goes on to show how they hated that Jesus was admired and followed more, and that they were losing ground. I can go on and on but I will pray to preach this one day.
Just remember Jealousy is a killer of the Joy to come. Those Pharisees are in Hell today. my conclusion will probably end with this verse.
Matthew 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
What a prophetic statement they made then. How many of their children today in Hell because they caused their children to neglect Jesus. How many of Jews today die never accepting Jesus as Lord.
I will ask you that are reading this post. How many are you telling or how many are you causing to neglect the Savior today. Your attitude will cause a world of difference. Heaven and Hell

Alice, Texas

I had contacted a church that was without a pastor a few months ago but was informed they had a interim from the Roloff homes with them now, but I felt like it wouldn't be the last time I would hear from them. I did speak to Bro. Scott for awhile and found out we had alot in common concerning the desire of seeing prisoners come to know the Lord as Savior in there life and expressed the need for Spanish bibles and material. I told him then about my friend in Georgia and that I would try to get some stuff for him. Well up in Georgia I did get the Bibles from a missionary from Tennessee,and the literature I needed to teach English to Spanish to the prisoners. It is a 31 lesson on the word of God.
I called Bro. Scott Monday and he informed me he was going to call me that night, to tell me that their interim pastor resigned and that I never left his mind since last we talked a few months ago,
He asked me if I was still looking and I assured him I was seeking to pastor again, so we talked so more and I told him I would send them my resume, which I did and they should get it on Friday.
I never did stop thinking about this church, even last week in Georgia it was on my mind so much. When I told Melinda she told me that she had thought about it also.
So I ask of you all please pray that Gods will be done.

We are leaving

Pray for us, we will leave Sat. morning at 5am to get to Georgia for the Sat night service at Concord Baptist Church in Fairmount Ga. PRAY for my wife too, please. I will miss her so much, but I need this. Would to God my wife was coming but God knows and will bless, I told her tonight as we ate supper together I will also look for us a job up there, (you never know)
Pray for traveling mercy up there and back, Love you guys.

Dr. Phil Kidd

What a revival they had at Baton Rouge, in Central Baptist Church, Dr Kidd preached Monday and Tuesday and It was awesome, Dr. Kidd is my favorite preacher, I cant wait to see him in Georgia next week, He told me he will be there Thursday And Friday, Cant wait. The first night he preached on The Favour Of God, Tuesday night he preached on the Shepherd, It was awesome, At one point it looked like he pierced through the first and second heaven and was looking straight up to the Third Heaven and having a good time. I bought 6 Cd's and his book he just wrote. I am hearing one message right now. It is titled Why The Veil Was Rent. It is awesome already.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 18th anniversary, and now I can say that we have been married half of my life, as Melinda always says about her being married to me. You see I am 36 and half of that is 18, so half of my life we have been together, And I wouldn't change a thing, (I love her!),
To you my wife I love you, to everybody else call us and tell us that you remembered it was our anniversary and not because you read my post. Do it know hurry!

I Am Leaving Melinda

Well not forever, just for a week, I am going to camp meeting with John John, We will be leaving to Georgia on Saturday August 2nd till the 8th. Bro. Howard was telling us yesterday how Bro. Sammy wanted him to go up to camp meeting and he decided to go because he will also be picking up some flooring in Dalton, Georgia. He was going by himself because no one could go due to work, my self included, and I really couldn't afford to take the days off, at least not a whole week and a day. But at church this morning my wife reminded me that our Father in Heaven owned all the hill and the cattle and so on and that He would take care of us, With that comment God gave me the peace I needed and decided I have to go, We have been talking how we needed to go up again but couldn't find the time or money. Going with Brother Howard will save me on gas and having to take my car and we will be staying in the preachers dorms. and off course the food Brother Sammy provides is free. They serve Breakfast lunch and dinner at the cost of $3.00 for the whole week. the $3.00 is just for the insurance to stay, everything else is free including meals and all the preaching. Pray for Melinda and Diana, they will be by them selves for a whole week and a day. I need this bad and I cant wait to get there. I cant wait to see Brother Janew and his wife also. Please pray for me also, there has been so much going on in our lives, whether here or back in Texas, but I need a personal renewal in my Christian Life, I need direction in where to go from here. Brother Sammy is truly a Man Of God and I need to go up there, Pray for my son also please.

Life can't go on with out the realism of Heaven and Hell

Some wont get saved unless they see a glimpse of hell and unfortunately that will be when they will be thrown in to the Fire.
I mean life has to go on but at what cost though. To be saved is just not a fire escape, it is life. Life eternal with the one that died for us.
What an example to have is, that Jesus was obedient unto death. He was about the fathers business. He suffered in all points and did it willingly. So that you and I might have life. Thanks to Jesus we are joint heir. That literally means we are royalty because Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is all I need, and that's all I need.

The Demon spirits of Hell

Whether you believe it or not many today are either possessed by a devil or influenced by a devil. And not just one, as some believe, That man that was possessed in Gadara was taken by 6,000 demons. Luke 8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
Becareful when you say he has a devil, He might have many. Most Christians today live like they have forgotten what Jesus has said would be like in the last day. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Its Been Awhile

So much has happened since my last post, and it has been fulfilling. So many to mention and some not worth mentioning.

One good light was going to Groves Texas to hear Johnny Pope, What a message, I felt like he preached right at me, The title of his message was;
Why do Evil when We Should Show Mercy?

He had first preached this message to his church and then was advised to preach this message at conferences across the country, and thank God he did. It was a message that delt with forgiveness. Were I copied the title was from Johnny's Website but I could not down load it, If you can though please go and do it, you have to hear this message. Our Freinds

I am so excited that our good friends came down to visit us for the July 4th weekend. We stayed up till 2a.m. playing Foosball and just cutting up. They arrived about 8:30p.m. We ate burgers and enchiladas. It was all so good. I get so excited when they come because I miss the fellowships we had when we were down there. We laugh more then talk it seems like, These are our best friends, friends that would drive up over 600 miles to visit.
I want to publicly say to them, Thank You For being our friends DeLeon's, We will miss you guys when you leave.
