This Morning

I start my new Job this Morning and I am both excited and nervous, but I know My redeemer lives so I will Make it with Gods Help. I got a thrill Of that, just knowing who I am, Knowing I am saved, I like what the preacher says," My momma told me about my first birth, but my second birth I told my momma." I thank God I am saved to the uttermost, And like Bro. Hutson sang, I am on the winning side.
Please pray for me today, and maybe the rest of the week, not just for my new job but just for prayer in general, and I vow to pray for you as you ask.
There is a song I love to hear that says that Somebody prayed for me today.
Lord help me,

How Can A Man Walk With God

Saturday night just before going to bed I had no peace about what I was going to teach for Sunday School And as I lay there I told my wife that I have to go study, Didn't know where or what to study but as I sat in my office it came clear to me, How Can A Man Walk With God, I started going through my books seeking for help, and I found what I know God was dealing with me that night. You see I struggle with my walk with Christ and I needed help. After reading some Literature of G. Campbell Morgan I got it fully. I started searching scripture and the Lord Gave me this Message to teach for Sunday School. I pray it will help you as it help me and those that attend Sunday School faithful.
HOW CAN A MAN WALK WITH GOD
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Now as a Christian this is the way to walk: Walking with God, Having the Communion with him.
1. Think about the Garden of Eden for a moment: what does Scripture say about this closeness with Him,
a. Genesis 3:8-10 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Now up until now it was a normal thing for God and Adam to be walking together, in sinless communion. They didn’t hide because they didn’t know who was that calling,
b. You think about us today, If some one calls and we don’t recognize =, we get a little defensive.
c. But you see there was something that caused a break in this walk with God, SIN!!!
2. Now there is a divine requirement revealed in Micah; Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Now #1, Do justly, Can you do that amongst the brethren, Well of course right, What about amongst the Lost, At your work, your Home, Around your family and friends, Those that are not in the church atmosphere.
Or what about to love mercy? To show kindness, to render forgiveness. Remember in Scripture where the one owed a great debt and was forgiving, What then did he in turn do to the one that owed him little.?
And to walk Humbly With thy God. Now as a Christian, Whose God? Our God.
Real Quickly, you can Not have an effect without a cause, In other words if you see 2 walking together, there is a reason why they are walking peaceably.
A. well they are agreed. There is common ground, Think about what scripture says concerning friendship;
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. 11Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Now in Scripture we see some examples of friendship. Think of the love that David had for Jonathon. And in death listen to how beautiful David says of his companion.
2 Samuel 1:23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
2 Samuel 1:26 I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women. 27 How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!

Now here it is again: God and Man must agree if they are to walk together.
Remember what Job said in his most great distress: Oh that I knew where I might find Him.
Now here is the thing. We all want this. And there is a requirement. Its it possible? Of course, Why would God want that of us if there where no way.
Genesis 5:22-24 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Can you imagine the conversation.
Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Noah for over 100 years preached but yet found no repentance in the people.
Some will say it is hard to live right and to do justly and show mercy, This world is wicked. But you see that should not be an excuse, it should not hinder or let it hinder your walk with God. Look at what God said about Noah; Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
What is God seeing in you this Morning or what did God see in you.
Now I know what God saw in me, and you better believe God is seeing you as well.
Nothing is hid, nothing is done in secret,
In this wicked generation what is God seeing in you.
For Noah it was found Righteous, Noah it was said,” He walked with God”.
How can a man Walk with God? Will you say I don’t know. Or will you say today show me. Well let me repeat the requirement;
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
You are going to have to make a commitment, To take a stand.
2 Kings 23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
You are going to have to make a vow with God. I know you are thinking, But God said: Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
That is not there for you not to make a promise, But for you to see the importance of keeping that promise.
In other words keep your word, You get mad when someone renigs on a word, well hey shouldn’t God hold you accountable also.
It is possible for us to walk with God. Think of that poem my wife loves so much; Foot prints in the Sand.
Footprints
One night I had a dream--I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints, one belonged to me and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me,I looked back at the footprints in the sand.I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints.I also noticed that it happened at the very lowestand saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,you would walk with me all the way,but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my lifethere is only one set of footprints. "I don't understand why in times when I needed you most, you should leave me." The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,I love you and I would never, never leave youduring your times of trial and suffering. "When you saw only one set of footprints,it was then that I carried you."
Know let me ask you, in this poem that Mary Stevenson wrote is there scripture to it.? Off course.
Some will say what about others that claim they walk with God. Well Scripture deals with that also.
Micah 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
What does the indwelling Spirit do in us, amongst other things, Confirms our beliefs. It bears record of our Lord.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Now let me remind you;
2 Kings 23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
Now this commitment is not half hearted it is to be done fully and completely. Scripture says,” With all their hearts and all their soul.”
I mean what does it really mean, So that you may win some.
We have to be building in our life with a Christ; Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Building upon your Faith with God, Because just like Love or the wrong love it can waver. Some will claim to have this walk but when trials come we falter,
The Christian life is a bed of roses, BUT YOU HAVE TO CONTEND WITH THE THORNS!!!!!
Now concerning the doctrine of faith, that on which their faith itself is founded; and then the meaning is, that they should not rest satisfied in what measure of faith they had already attained, but still be improving it, and making further progress in it, not only hold fast the truth of the gospel, the right foundation on which they had begun to be built, but get themselves, by the due study and meditation of the word, more and more confirmed in the belief of it.
Now in closing will you perform? the words of this covenant that were written in this book.
Our King James Bible..
Will we like in 2 Kings Stand by this covenant?------
I like what it says in this verse: Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

The Man of God

Those that know Bro. Rick Alegria, know that he is in Bible College at Faith Baptist Institute In Resaca Georgia, A college of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, Were Bro. Sammy Allen is Pastor.
What Bro. Rick is doing I believe to be a great thing that brings Honor to God and to the continuing of Bro. Sammys Testimonial Preaching. To hear Brother Sammy preach is the highlight of my life, and to read a part of Bro. Sammys past and how good God has blessed him is awesome. Here is a taste of what Bro. Rick has Typed out from Bro, Sammys messages

Dr. Percy Ray would have them, maybe once or twice, during that Power Conference, he’d have three preachers preach three minutes. I said, “I wouldn’t preach one of them three minute messages” The Holy Spirit said “You’ll preach one of them or you won’t enjoy anymore of this meeting!” I preached three minutes; got off the podium preaching, preached three minutes. A preacher in Florida heard it, had me to come to Knoxville, Victory Baptist Church, and I preached Sunday morning and Sunday night. Then, I went back. I preached at I don’t know how many different churches one or two nights a week. Then we had more meetings, you know, the crusades for Christ and… I probably preached a hundred weeks meetings. A three minute message about opened up that whole country. Unbelievable. A three minute message…

Lets Get A Physical

Well today for my new job I had to get a physical, and considering I am way over weight my blood pressure is were it should be. But as for my sugar it is high. They found what could be diabetes in my urine and after they did a hymo-something they saw that my sugar level is high, It was 131, today. under 121 Ishould be they said, but the thing for me to do is to lay off sugar and other sugar related food, not just candy. Oh and lose weight off course, It was an eye opening experience for me. And had I not have taken this new Job and required to take a physical, I probably would have found out to late the Doc. said, So to you God I say thank you very much, and to my wife for calling Oustelet. Please pray that I take this very serious, I know my wife will be supportive in helping me. She has always supported me in every thing I did whether career or the ministry. Being a preachers wife is not a called thing but it is a supportive role in my life. We may have our spiff and arguments but ultimately I know she loves me and I love her. We have been through alot in Louisiana, and we have been through it together. And we owe it all To Jesus, for it is God that has brought us through the valleys and let us take part of the mountain as well.

I got it

I will no longer work for O-o-O'reilly Auto parts, I will now work for Bubba Oustalet in the Parts Department. I am excited for a new opportunity to try a new job. Though I was fed up with management at Oreillys I still wanted to work for a parts store, not knowing that working at a dealership was the place I would be at. I will still sale parts but make more commission at Bubba, I know alot of the mechanics so that helps going to a new place. I want to thank the Lord first and my wife second for just calling after only just seeing a part truck for the dealership. My new boss is a jokester because he first calls me yesterday and tells me,"Sorry to inform you that it didn't work out." I was feeling terrible and then he said, "Just Joking, I like to fool around." I told him let me get hired first then joke with me. But I am so glad to have this opportunity. Maybe I will get a deal on a used truck, Oh man!
Oh and no Juan, it is the same company, but the one in town is the Ford dept. Were I will be, will be the Chevy about 10 blocks away down the same road.

Bubba Oustalet Dealership

Well I went today for my second interview for a parts man for this dealership, And well I am pretty much hired, I have one more interview today with The Cole Group, that does all their preliminary interviews, after that they call me to set up a physical, and hopefully I start work after next week. I love working for Oreilly's but I am fed up with the managers lack of managing. I am not used to working with people that are used to making excuses.
I am glad to be still working with the parts department though, only because that is a field that I have learned about so much.
What is so awesome is that yesterday when Melinda was going to work she spotted a Oustalet truck and got their number and called them and asked if they are hiring and they said yes and it was like thank you Lord. I went yesterday after work for an interview with Mr Russell, and all went well. I found out today the owners are very proud of there business but are humbled enough to put God first in their doings with the business. The owner explained to me that no matter what God is first, And being honest is not just a slogan.
I pray that all continues to go forward, so please pray for Lords Will.

The worst

The worst enemy of the church of Christ is not heathenism, Communism, Mohammedanism, or Romanism, but worldliness within the Church where unsaved and carnal, and often quarreling members are in control.

But I say, Preacher keep on preaching, soul winner keep on going, faithful members keep coming and stay away from these, and when they leave lets vote to give the Pastor a raise.

The Cannot and the Thought,

Things you cannot do:
1: You cannot live wrong and die right.
2: You cannot do the devils work and draw Gods pay.
3: You cannot sow to the flesh and reap spiritual things.
4: You cannot fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness and expect to maintain fellowship with God.
5: You cannot be a friend to the world and be a friend to God at the same time.
6: You cannot think wrong and live right.

Has it Occurred To You?
Has it occurred to you...that God could have kept Daniel from the lions den? That he could have kept Paul and Silas out of jail? That he could have kept the three Hebrew children out of the fiery furnace? Actually, though, God has never promised to keep us out of hard places . What He has promised is to go with us through every hard place and to bring us through victoriously!

You cannot have truth without Christ, for Christ is truth...

God Saves Old Sinners

The drunk on the street-, the rich in the palaces
The poor and unlearned-- and men of degree
They all have a soul-- in need of salvation
And they all have to come-- by Calvary

Chorus
I am so glad-- God saves old sinners
I’m thrilled and amazed-- how He sets them free
But the biggest surprise-- in redeeming old sinners
Is that He would save- an old sinner like me

Was I so wrong-- that I needed forgiveness
And Was I so bad-- I had to be redeemed
Well, I wasn’t a thief-- but I lived in sin’s prison
And I was lost-- as a sinner could be

One day me and Nicole will sing this song in church, But I want to say is that I do want to thank God for saving an old sinner like me.
We sang together in church already and I try not to over power her because she sounds beautiful and me like a old rust bucket, but hey for the honor and Glory Of God I will sing it out.

love this song, When we went to Kansas my family sang it up there over and over believing that my father in law would get saved, that night we got there he did get saved, I thought of this song when I lead my little Brother to the Lord, You all know him as Sal but to me he will always be Jay, my little shadow. I love you Brother, please don't be upset with me, But I do love you and am thrill that God set you free.

I could listen to this over and over.

Bro. Hutson is in heaven today but today he is alive still in Glory, whether through the internet or my new found cassettes of his preaching. I love to hear him preach, Just stay awhile and listen. Please click on the link and listen, please I beg you in Jesus name. I beleive it will bless you.

He is Still in Control

God has been still blessing and blessing, and I am grateful for that. I am careful to thank the Lord always for His provisions. This week even though my laptop has been falling apart God let me get some of my files. The hard drive is collapsing and it is killing my computer. The Lord gave me that through a preacher back in 2005 five and I have hundreds of outlines saved in it. I also have personal info like my resume and other stuff. Just yesterday a church called me to send my resume for a view to a call, and my first thought was I have to type out my resume again because it is in the laptop, but I couldn't get it because I turn it on then a blue screen and off it goes, so I was stuck with errors and stuff, The church wants me up there in 3 weeks but wants a resume and a DVD of my preaching. I sat at my table with my laptop and asked the Lord If He could please let me have just a few minutes with my laptop. Well guess what my wife got it up and I had enough time to down load my files and print my resume. THANK YOU
LORD!!!!!!! Well I sent it out and pray for Lords Will. I also want to thank the Lord for my new laptop but hope to restore my old one.
Today also Bro. Steve and Sis. Sharon blessed me with a book case for some of my books, Bro. Steve also measured my office to see about building me a specialized shelf that I have printed in my head. I have all these ideas in my head and Bro. Steve said he can do it. So I just cant help but to thank the Lord. I have all these books that belonged to the great man of God Bro. Kenneth Wall, and they are all over my floor.
I have to admit I have been concerned lately but God has assured me that everything is all right.

With a Broken Heart I say this...

I miss my Dad,, Last night I finally talked to my dad, At first I wanted to yell at him but God wouldn't let me say what I wanted. Instead I listened to my daddy, My heart broke so much for him. I am not mad at my dad, nor am I not mad at his decision, Though I feel bad about the situation, I cant help but feel bad for my dad, I can say one thing about my dad, as a father I don't ever remember him lying to me, not once. He has been honest for along time and I cant help but to believe every word he says. I miss working with him everyday. I enjoyed taking tacos and having a good time during breaks. There is a song that I love to hear that reminds me of my dad, and it brings me to tears just thinking of him. I thank my Heavenly Father for my Earthly Father,

Today was a good day

Well we had a good day. church was good and the day went well, I thought I was going to finish chapter 18 of the Book of Psalm but Man I couldn't get out of the mercy of God that David so wonderfully put it in this chapter. Was caught up on the coming of the Lord this morning. I cant wait for that day but cant help to wonder about those left behind. You know Jesus is all I need in this wicked and dieing world. Troubles and trials may come and Satan will roar but it is being anchored in Jesus that is my hope.

Baby Alligators are Stupid

There is so much I want to talk about that I don't have the time right now; due to, I have to go to work but last night we were bringing
Mia and Lilly to our house to spend the weekend with us. They are our friends from Maurice who were my church members. We had a good time eating out, shopping (Melinda bought her ANOTHER pair of KEDS!!!,"She deserves it though, she got another raise.)and fellowshiping, Oh by the way I will post about what happened at the mall that was so funny, anyways on the way home from Lafayette Mia, Diana and John were in the back of the van and Lilly was with Melinda in the middle seat, by the way we taught Lilly who is 2 to say Chicken Butt. She sounds so funny saying it. Any ways all of the sudden Mia is crying that she wants to go home and wants to be with mommy and daddy, and we freaked out because she wanted to go with us and Lilly to so we were like its okay don't cry, we are going fishing and to the park, going to see Baby Alligators and go to Todd's House to barbecue and have fun with other kids. But she was crying. She was like I want to see smack down and the undertaker, and that her Daddy needs her. Oh did I mention Lafayette is 48 miles away and we were half way home, I called Mike and Tiffany and they were surprised also. Well they met us half way and on the way we kept saying what we were going to do and eat eggs and pancakes, and see the parks and the fishing oh and the Baby Alligators.
Well Mike calls me this morning and says guess what, Mia wants to go over now. So we were happy because we love those kids, Mike goes on to tell me that last night, Mia was saying that they were gonna take us to go see Baby Alligators, But Baby Alligators are Stupid, I want to see big alligators.
Well guess what? She wakes up saying that we were probably eating pancakes and eggs and that she likes baby alligators and wants to see then. Well at the time of this post Mike is on the road bringing the kids to our house to start a fun filled weekend with the kids and the Stupid Baby Alligators.

A VOICE FROM HELL

"Oh, why am I here in this place of unrest When others have entered the land of the blest? God's way of salvation was preached unto men;I heard it and heard it, again and again. Why did I not listen and turn from my sin And open my heart and let Jesus come in?For vain earthly pleasures my soul did I sell--The way I had chosen has brought me to hell.I wish I were dreaming, but ah, it is true. The way to be saved I had heard and I knew;My time on the earth, oh, so quickly fled by,How little I thought of the day I would die. When God's Holy Spirit was pleading with me,I hardened my heart and I turned from His plea. The way that was sinful, the path that was wide, I chose and I walked till the time that I died. Eternally now, I must dwell in this place. If I from my memory could but erase The thoughts of my past which are haunting me so. Oh, where is a refuge to which I can go? This torture and suffering, how long can I stand? For Satan and devils this only was planned. God's refuge is Jesus, the One that I spurned; He offered salvation, but from Him I turned. My brothers and sisters I wish I could warn. Far better 'it would be if I had not been born. The price I must pay is too horrid to tell--My life without God led directly to Hell. "Oh, soul without Christ, will these words be your cry? God's Word so declares it that all men must die. From hell and its terrors, Oh, flee while you may! So, come to the Saviour; He'll save you today!
