Bro. Fain Jordan--

Bro.Fain Jordan went on to heaven. I know that by meeting him for the first time in 2004 at camp meeting, I am a better man. He was to me the greatest Evangelist in this country. He had such compassion when he preaches and just talking to him you could feel his love for sinners. First time I heard him was on a choir tape and he spoke of his aunt Lula, and when he said,"I just stopped by, on my way home." It gets me filled knowing that heaven is a home for us Christians. Man I miss him so much just sitting here typing these blog. I didn't spend enough time with him, but yet he blazed a trail for God. I remember here in Odem we stayed up late just talking about the Lord. I missed seeing him in Jennings but I can honestly say I am glad I was not there, I would be a mess right now, more than I am now. I mean he was real, he is real. What compassion, what love for sinners, I remember in one message he mentioned about preaching in a prison and every time he was there there was one man that would come and just sit and listen, he said one night he came to him and asked Bro. Jordan that when he talked to God, would you ask Him to talk to me. That just broke his heart that Bro. Fain just prayed that God would touch his body, he said he went outside and just prayed to God at his car. That following visit he came and that man said Bro. Jordan He did it, he spoke to me, and I accepted Him as Lord. Years later Bro. Jordan got a call and it was Him and after he got out he joined an old fashioned baptist church and got baptized and served God and even joined the Choir,,,, Praise God.....I can go on and on with illustrations of his messages. I have only a few but I listen to the message, and oh what a message.
Dear Lord bless his family......I know you will Lord,,

Fain Jordan was one of the greatest men I have ever had the priviledge of not 0only meeting but becoming very close to once upon a time. He took me into his home as a young kid and he and his family treated me as their own. I will miss him greatly.
