I taught on this subject this morning, and the only thing that gets me is, some one else will get the blame, you know I as a father did not make the choice to disappoint others. And yet I give the option and they make the decision, I get the blame. Yet I gave the option. Peoples assumptions are wrong about me and yet I am blamed. I taught right and I showed but yet did they listen no.
I know one thing, as a father I did not fail.
I thank God for my wife and her always following me. She could have told me no and stay in Texas, but yet she was obedient and followed me. If you read this post Melinda, I love You.

Crying Unto God
I wonder when was the last time you Cried unto God. So burdened for a soul, concerned for a loved one, concerned about your service to God, concerned about where you stand. Lamentations says this, about crying unto God. Lamentations 2:18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
Jeremiah was broken about the situation of Jerusalem, He was concerned about the condition of the nation. He not only felt the despair but saw it first hand, He was weeping about the stand the the people of God have forsaken. The difference was that his heart was rent in despair. He was concerned to the point of weeping.
Where are we in our concern for our nation, our state, our county's, our city's, our streets and our neighbors.
David in Psalm 28:1 is crying unto God, His confidence was in his God in that he refers to God as His Rock. David here refers to God as a rock because it signifies that as a rock God is a place Of refuge, The rock also represents strength, a strong place, to be in the place of God is to be secured in His strength. As David cries unto his God He is proclaiming that he needs no mans help. He addresses the comforter, He addresses his savior, his Help and his Friend.
David knows that he to could be put in a position that there is no help. he knows what it feels like to lose because of sin, ( he lost a son because of adultery, He lost a daughter, and older son as well,) David knew that he is human and weak, but yet he knew that his strength was with God, So with that he cried. How aweful for a child of God to get so far away from God that To feel lonesome. David didn't want that, I don't want that. And I know you don't want that.
So with that I will Pray like this. Psalms 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

The Lord Is So Good.
I just want to explain to you that read this blog, I love the Lord, He has been so good to me. I have waited on Him and yet God is still blessing. I have seen my brother get saved and then to baptize him was awesome. I have seen him grow through out the year. I see how he loves the preacher and church. I see him have fellowship with those that I have had fellowship with. Though there is turmoil and strife I can see some good.

A Full Van
Today we had 15 kids on the van, and with the 3 workers we totaled 18, We met the limit for the van.We had 7 new kids and they were so excited. 6 kids that road last week did not come and if they did we would have been totally full. 5 of the kids made a profession and I hope they got saved. Some of my formal church members came by and visited our church and that was refreshing. It was good to see the kids enjoy church, Next week we are going to Texas, and Todd said he would ride the van to make sure the kids get picked up. Our van drivers are exited to see the van full. Keep praying for the Bus ministry, It works.

The Messiah Rt.
Well this week was our second week back in the bus ministry and it was great, We had 12 kids ride on the van and it was great. Though our driver didn't show up we still took off and picked up them kids. We had 5 new kids and they had so much fun, We all learned the Pepsi Cola song and as I was driving I would honk, it was so much fun. I forgot how much joy we have seeing these kids having fun on the van. This Sunday some some of our church people got excited about the bus ministry that this sat we will have some new helpers to visit. One day we hope to buy a second van and start My old Rt. the Redeemer Rt. The only thing missing will be my old driver Big Juan, or as some in South Texas Called Him PAPPI CHULO. LOL. Keep praying for us,

What a Ride
We had a good turn out this morning, Had one new rider and that was worth all the driving around yesterday. His name is Bralyn, but I am not sure if that's how you spell it, he said his nick name is Buddy so I will go with that. It was fun riding again with my family and singing them good bus songs, I pray we have some good follow up visits next Sat.

Had some good visits
The one thing I hoped to run into today, The Lord let it happen, I had mentioned that I wanted to run into some former bus kids with their own kids, and sure enough I did and some were married to each other and they remembered the good times they had and even sang some of them bus songs. They promised to let their kids come and I pray they do. 2 certain kids broke my heart and I will try my best to love them, They are what some would call very low class, but they need Jesus.
The Redeemer Route
Today my Family will start the bus ministry at our church, My route will be called the Redeemer Rt. but we will start by helping Bro. Carl and Bro. Eric, There Route I named it the Messiah Rt. I chose to name each route to help kids know which van they came in. We only have one van right know but as we search for a second my family will help the Messiah Rt. grow. They are struggling to get kids but Bro. Carl has never giving up going. Bro. Eric now helps him and that encouraged Bro. Carl. They at times have no kids coming and it is discouraging to them, but wont quit. They need help, and we will try. I am praying that with weeks of visiting we will have a good turn out, Building a new or rebuilding a Route is hard but if the burden is there I believe God will bless. I am not looking for a big turn out but if we can get just one, it will make a difference.
The bus route is very important to me, and I know it works. my daughter was a bus kid, when my wife was a child she was a bus kid, my mother in law as a child was a bus kid, and because they never stopped I took my kids off the bus and I took them to church, and it was at church that I got Saved, and now I am a God called preacher in His perfect will. There is a need for the bus ministry in my community. I pray that God can use my family and Bro. Carl and Bro. Eric to reach these kids. Please pray for us. Oh and also to buy a new van to get the Redeemer Rt. going, When my family moved from Abbeville we committed to the bus ministry $2500.00, is it enough no, but some have nothing. We also need more help visiting. Our church has people that used to work routes years ago, and I pray that they get on board and visit. We need help and plenty of it. Our town has kids that need to know about salvation, Many that used to ride the bus rt. are now grown and have children, I hope to visit them as well. Please pray for us, and if you can help let me know.

Its been awhile
Yesterday I celebrated the 37th anniversary of my birth, and it was great, First my wife treated me with breakfast and for lunch she brought me a foot long meatball sub from Subway. That was good. Then for supper she made my favorite meal, Gorditas stuffed with chicken, The chicken she adds all her fav spices and tomato's and onions and other stuff, and it was so good. And to top it off we went to Dairy Queen for dessert, it was a good day. God was so good. Melinda even made me chocolate covered strawberry's to bring to work, and my bosses wife made me some brownies to, God truly blessed.
I want to say that my van is fixed, those that know, knew it sputtered bad and was losing power, aslo the heater didn't work, driver window also was not working and the door lock actuator was broke also, oh and head light socket was broke, oh and a bad oil leak. Well all that was fixed and my van is working top notch, or as they say up here, it is running like a top, It all cost 386.88 to fix but worth every penny because I was thinking of trading in for another and making payments and that would have been good but God gave me more liberty to get it fixed, We ask God to help us with the van one more year then we will buy another one.
My Pathfinder is still running strong and it helped to have a second vehicle. Well pray for me and my family, I have 2 churches asking me to help fill in and preach and am excited to do that but ultimately I would like my own church one day in Gods time. These 2 churches that are after me to go are Southern Baptist and yes I know I am an Independent Baptist preacher and they know that but there response is we want some one to preach without compromise, So as the Lord leads I will go, Hey Dr. R.G. Lee said 80% percent of SBC members are lost, even Billy Graham said 75% are lost. J. Harold Smith said once that the reason he goes and preaches in SBCs is because we wont, He is credited to leading thousands to the Lord, His one message Gods Three Deadlines helped many of these to come to the lord, I am in no way in this mans league but I am a Man of God, and as God leads I will go

Them Stones
Well I had me another battle with the kidney stones yesterday, and it was painful. It hit me at work and it was crippling, my boss cut his lunch in half and let me go home. I just layed in bed and took the pain until it stopped. Tylenol helped a little, but it wasn't enough. I am okay now but man was it bad yesterday. Please pray for me. Those that have been thru this know what the pain is, and if you never had it consult with a Urologist for preventive measures. It is horrible, horrible. I have a high calcium build up and that aint good. Plaese pray for me,

Dr. Robert G Lee, Pay Day Some Day
And the only way I know for any man or woman on earth to escape the sinner's payday on earth and the sinner's hell beyond -- making sure of the Christian's payday on earth and the Christian's heaven beyond the Christian's payday -- is through Christ Jesus, who took the sinner's place upon the Cross, becoming for all sinners all that God must judge, that sinners through faith in Christ Jesus might become all that God cannot judge.
Dr. Lee ended his message with this quote.

"Old-fashioned, Spirit-filled, Christ-honoring, sin-hating, soul-winning, Bible preaching! It is the hope of the church! It is the hope of the nation
It is the Hope of the World!! Jack hyles, 1926-2001

The Structure
The structure for revival is there, and that structure is a burden, with out it you win nothing. What do I do, were do I stand, And how do I go? It seems these are the questions, That God teaches in Corinthians that we are to learn, so we can clutch some out of the fire. Read in
I Corinthians chapter 9 verses 22-27, There is way you ought to become. I have been saved almost 10 years now and have grown, but not for haughtiness, but for His glory and honor. I remember when I walked as they walked, I was lost. Now remember in the whole armor of God we Find the Helmet of Salvation, What does that mean to me? It means that you are to remember what God has done for you. You were nothing yet He loved you, You were trash yet he picked you up, I am become weak to win the weak. We are to run that race, and we are to run the whole race, no shortcuts, No short cuts in the ministry. And at that it is winnable, if it wasn't so God would have said ye cant win, but he said it is obtainable. And don't beat yourself over it either, or as one that beateth the air. Don't get frustrated, or are you frustrated already, there is a remedy for that to, confess. You need a structure to build on, and that is a burden, and I know you have one.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee.

The Worst pt2
The worst enemy of the church of Christ is not heathenism, Communism, Mohammedanism, or Romanism, but worldliness within the Church where unsaved and carnal, and often quarreling members are in control.
But I say, Preacher keep on preaching, soul winner keep on going, faithful members keep coming and stay away from these, Mark them, void them but pray for them, and when they get right embrace them,
The greatest possesion we have is love, and a burden. Without these there will be no revival.
