Its been awhile

Yesterday I celebrated the 37th anniversary of my birth, and it was great, First my wife treated me with breakfast and for lunch she brought me a foot long meatball sub from Subway. That was good. Then for supper she made my favorite meal, Gorditas stuffed with chicken, The chicken she adds all her fav spices and tomato's and onions and other stuff, and it was so good. And to top it off we went to Dairy Queen for dessert, it was a good day. God was so good. Melinda even made me chocolate covered strawberry's to bring to work, and my bosses wife made me some brownies to, God truly blessed.
I want to say that my van is fixed, those that know, knew it sputtered bad and was losing power, aslo the heater didn't work, driver window also was not working and the door lock actuator was broke also, oh and head light socket was broke, oh and a bad oil leak. Well all that was fixed and my van is working top notch, or as they say up here, it is running like a top, It all cost 386.88 to fix but worth every penny because I was thinking of trading in for another and making payments and that would have been good but God gave me more liberty to get it fixed, We ask God to help us with the van one more year then we will buy another one.
My Pathfinder is still running strong and it helped to have a second vehicle. Well pray for me and my family, I have 2 churches asking me to help fill in and preach and am excited to do that but ultimately I would like my own church one day in Gods time. These 2 churches that are after me to go are Southern Baptist and yes I know I am an Independent Baptist preacher and they know that but there response is we want some one to preach without compromise, So as the Lord leads I will go, Hey Dr. R.G. Lee said 80% percent of SBC members are lost, even Billy Graham said 75% are lost. J. Harold Smith said once that the reason he goes and preaches in SBCs is because we wont, He is credited to leading thousands to the Lord, His one message Gods Three Deadlines helped many of these to come to the lord, I am in no way in this mans league but I am a Man of God, and as God leads I will go

Them Stones

Well I had me another battle with the kidney stones yesterday, and it was painful. It hit me at work and it was crippling, my boss cut his lunch in half and let me go home. I just layed in bed and took the pain until it stopped. Tylenol helped a little, but it wasn't enough. I am okay now but man was it bad yesterday. Please pray for me. Those that have been thru this know what the pain is, and if you never had it consult with a Urologist for preventive measures. It is horrible, horrible. I have a high calcium build up and that aint good. Plaese pray for me,

The Structure

The structure for revival is there, and that structure is a burden, with out it you win nothing. What do I do, were do I stand, And how do I go? It seems these are the questions, That God teaches in Corinthians that we are to learn, so we can clutch some out of the fire. Read in
I Corinthians chapter 9 verses 22-27, There is way you ought to become. I have been saved almost 10 years now and have grown, but not for haughtiness, but for His glory and honor. I remember when I walked as they walked, I was lost. Now remember in the whole armor of God we Find the Helmet of Salvation, What does that mean to me? It means that you are to remember what God has done for you. You were nothing yet He loved you, You were trash yet he picked you up, I am become weak to win the weak. We are to run that race, and we are to run the whole race, no shortcuts, No short cuts in the ministry. And at that it is winnable, if it wasn't so God would have said ye cant win, but he said it is obtainable. And don't beat yourself over it either, or as one that beateth the air. Don't get frustrated, or are you frustrated already, there is a remedy for that to, confess. You need a structure to build on, and that is a burden, and I know you have one.

The Worst pt2

The worst enemy of the church of Christ is not heathenism, Communism, Mohammedanism, or Romanism, but worldliness within the Church where unsaved and carnal, and often quarreling members are in control.
But I say, Preacher keep on preaching, soul winner keep on going, faithful members keep coming and stay away from these, Mark them, void them but pray for them, and when they get right embrace them,
The greatest possesion we have is love, and a burden. Without these there will be no revival.

The Cannot and the Thought pt2

Things you cannot do:

1: You cannot live wrong and die right.

2: You cannot do the devils work and draw Gods pay.

3: You cannot sow to the flesh and reap spiritual things.

4: You cannot fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness and expect to maintain fellowship with God.

5: You cannot be a friend to the world and be a friend to God at the same time.

6: You cannot think wrong and live right.

Has it Occurred To You?:

Has it occurred to you...that God could have kept Daniel from the lions den? That he could have kept Paul and Silas out of jail? RELIGIOUS BUT LOST

It is amazing to me how many religious people there are today, but they are either foolish or ignorant, People who claim Christianity but are outwardly hypocritical. In gulfed with what they know but yet contradict their own beliefs and they don't catch on to it, and when I say something they are like, "Who do you think you are." My response is, "I am saved and a Christian and know what I believe, And my belief is in God and His Word." and to that I get the you only think you are right. I don't think I am right I am right, If what I teach lines up with the KJBible then I a right,If I twist his word to justify my thought then I am wrong. But you know I believe that if I say something out of context, most church members wont catch it because they don't read their Bible, (SAY AMEN RIGHT THERE), you know I am right. Most church members go to see how far up in the chain they can get. and when things don't go their way they swell up like a bullfrog, and trip over there pooched out lips.
Here's a thought for you, when a so called christian goes around dressing in modest go tell her, shame on you, Hey if God hates it why not us, Open shame in the face of God and they get offended because they are confronted, We have to much blood in our hands, Its about time we get back to the old way of thinking,
Now here is my challenge to you, Study II Corinthians 13:5, but wait read and see is you can see the mind set of Paul in the begging of this chapter. 13:1-2
Let me help you, Paul is sending a stern threat of disciplinary action. He is fed up with the stubbornness of these few who have been warned, Some get up set with hard preaching or as some would falsely accuse of pulpit whipping, but read what Paul wrote, He said,"If i come back again, I will not spare:"
Christian doing right, keep doing right, Saved person consider yourself warned, God is not mocked, Lost men and women repent, and get saved, We are in the last days.

WOUNDED AGAIN,

Its amazing how so called christains act, normally I capitalize the C when I mention Christian, but these that wound me are not Christians, they may be saved but carnal, sit there and do nothing but criticise, I don't get offended but because I love Gods word and Him, but I can get wounded. And this one wounded me hard because it hit me where I am weak, and I compensate were I am weak by joking about it so I can laugh it out, But it brought me to tears, I told Melinda That I haven't felt this way since the incident in Abbeville, I just hurt and it cut to the marrow, I haven't cried like that in 2 years. But I will get over it because I can claim Romans 8:28 because I truly love God. And with revival still going on for another week that old devil wants to keep me down, but I serve one that is greater than he. His name is Jesus

TODAY ONE OF MY BOSSES CAME AND LET ME KNOW THAT I GOT A $1.00 RAISE AND IT JUST THRILLED MY SOUL, I AM SO EXCITED, I TOLD MY BOSS THAT EVEN GOD GOT A RAISE, WITH MY TITHES AND OFFERINGS

Its Amazing,

Do I want? yes, off course , There are somethings I desire that I don't need and My wife will agree with this, I mean most of the stuff I want is not that expensive or huge, its just little things and off course tools, and now that Bro. Sammy is here well guess what. He brought out his knives. This man has over 20,000 dollars in Case knives he collects and he brings them with him everywhere he goes because it helps him to unwind, you have to keep them polished to keep its new look, moister dulls the look and touching them with hands the oil stains them, so he and his drivers stay up all night polishing, mostly him they cant keep up with Sammy. Last year I gave him and Bro. One Bullet Craftsman tools, my cordless drill, and other stuff and he gave me a knife I was eyeballing, A German switch blade knife that was rare and no longer in production, it was mint and some 30years old. Well he gave it to me and I love it. As I polish it I pray for Bro. Sammy, but the Other one he had I kept my eye on, and knowing he was coming I thought on it again. Last night came out the knives and sure enough there it lay, I didn't say a word just looked at the 100 plus knives and that one to me was sticking out. Brother Sammy tells Dickie, You see Bro. Big John he gives me tools and supplies for the camp every year and he said I believe he got me some stuff and I said yes, he goes on to tell Dickie and Bro. Howard, Big John cant keep his eyes off that one, right at the one I was looking at, He said,"I think I will let Big John Have it." I didn't even tell him but yet out of the hundred so knives he pointed out the one he would give me. I cant wait to get, and I am honored that he will take my tools and they will use it at the camp ground, He said I could pick out $60.00 worth of materials off the book and CD tables, I don't love Bro. Sammy because he gives me stuff, I love him because he is my Friend and a mentor to me.

So far all is well,

Revival has started off great, last night John my son got saved, I have been wondering about him but I left it alone, I pray he got it settled last night. Bro. Sammy is my favorite Preacher, out side my Pastor. He has helped me so much, My wife got saved under his preaching, I have been a better soul winner because of him, I probably would have not been as effective in winning my brother to the Lord had I not known to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, I learned all that from Bro, Sammy and Bro. Janew, Have I been instrumental in wining many to Christ, probably not. But I know this one thing, In my soul winning bible I have over 100 people that after I led them to the Lord have not one time been in church or have seen a difference in their lives, I know it is not what I see but God, But do you honestly think that someone as big as God Move in And you cant tell it. I sat at my pew and stared at Bro Sammy and Bro. Clayton and wondered, Who will pick up the slack once they are gone. I prayed last night, and asked the Holy Spirit to show me where I stand.

We Have Had Them Come Before

But, it was different this time. What do I mean?, Well let me explain, after a couple of emails Juan and Deedee came up to visit us here in Louisiana, and off course we had so much fun, but you see it was also a spiritual awakening for my little girl, and it was amazing how God used so many people. I do want to say is that the Deleon's have treated my daughter like she was their daughter. They were so helpful in the enlightenment my daughter received. Myself and Melinda have been praying for our daughter for weeks now and God has answered our prayers, God is so good. It capped off with a awesome service today at church, no preaching just worship, and leading of the Holy Spirit, It was a great weekend, Thank you guys. And to my wife I love you so much.
