Would think that was a good thing, but if you get a chance to talk to him, ask him about his serman's for New Bethany Home For Girls in the 80's. He was one of the few outside people allowed in the compound and had contact with the girls there. I've wondered over the years why, if he was so Godly, he never tried to help us. Could it have been that he approved of the way we were treated and the suffering he had to be blind to not see. Check out New Bethany Survivor stories on MSN. There are hundreds of us that still have nightmares of our time there, and don't try to say we probably deserved what we got because we were ungodly. I just never understood why one of the only people that could have made a difference and saved us, chose to ignore our pain.
